Special Touches

Many times it is the thought that counts and thoughtful touches can be just the thing to make your guests feel extra special. Planning your wedding should be an exciting and stress free experience. Let us assist you in arranging for the very special touches that will fit your individual style and create memories to last a lifetime.

Welcome Baskets

We offer welcome baskets and bags in a variety of styles, sizes, and prices. We can personalize baskets and bags with your bridal weekend agenda for the guests and then add what you desire to fit into your wedding theme or perhaps a beach or tropical creation to surprise them as they enter their cottage or come to your welcome reception. Ideas include: gifts for your bridal party and special relatives, your location logo t-shirt, cup, can coozie, gift bag of shells, lip balm, sunblock, sunglasses–the list goes on and on! We also offer beverages, cheese, chocolates and mints.

Welcome Reception

Welcome your guests with a very special reception featuring overlays, topiaries, ribbons, and other decorative items introducing the colors of your wedding. Or, you may set the theme with flowers, napkins, centerpieces, and lighting that coordinates with your wedding colors. Have fun with a nautical or beach theme, or more trendy with shabby chic. You’ll want to welcome your family and friends and make everyone feel comfortable.

Bridesmaid’s Brunch or Luncheon

Carrying on the theme, we can introduce the bridal flowers with other soft accents. Table centerpieces set a nice tone and can be used again, if desired. Centerpiece florals in “tussie mussies” can be used as gifts for bridal attendants and family members. Sparkling beaded bags holding friendship balls can be filled with very special, individual gifts, and add a beautiful touch to your table settings.

Groomsmen Welcome, Lunch or Outing

A welcome or day out for the guys, your menu may include personalized golf balls, tees, caps, t-shirts, mugs, beer, or other items in a gift tote or waterproof bag, to give to the wedding party and special friends and relatives.

Rehearsal Dinner

Think big! Expanding on the idea of a single centerpiece on a buffet table, you can discuss the venue layout with the caterer and make the buffet table presentation even more spectacular. Work together on linens, overlays, napkins, placement of tables, lighting, draping, and other essentials, ensuring a beautiful, smooth evening before your wedding.

Brunch

Start your wedding day off right. Offer an informal buffet with food stations and flow, but dramatic enough to set the tone and build up anticipation to your wedding ceremony. Again, you will work with the caterer, which is essential in creating your desired effect. A farewell brunch is also a wonderful idea and a very personal way to say thank you to your guests.

Preparation time for the bridal party

Preparation is key. Offer a snack and beverage basket for the cottage(s) during preparation for your big day. You may include personal items, such as mints, specials soaps and splashes. For the two of you, baskets for an intimate time together can include champagne and juice for mimosas with bread, cheeses, and gourmet snacks for the bridal attendants. This is also a perfect opportunity for the groom, bride’s father, or others, to send the bride a single rose or something new, something blue!

Honeymoon Basket

This basket is especially designed as a gift for the bride or the couple to receive in their honeymoon cottage. May include rose petals in the bedroom or Jacuzzi, roses, soaps, lotions, body sprays, chocolate dipped strawberries and other fruit, wine, certificates for massage, beach chairs, and any other items to ensure a special evening for the special couple.

The Main Event…the Wedding Ceremony

Of course this goes without saying, Weddings on a Beach has been creating spectacular weddings for over 30 years and we are always adding options to our inventory, such as a wide variety of arch sizes, materials, shapes, and colors. Also, aisle and pew markers, urns, vases, shepherds hooks, lanterns, special lighting, and other items are available in a wide variety of choices.

Reception

Weddings on a Beach is ready to take on the smallest, most intimate setting to several hundred people for a reception. We can easily decorate food stations to a particular theme, including the wedding cake area, groom cake area, gift table, registration tables, beverage areas, and buffet. There are at least six designers on staff at all times, and up to six additional designers are on call for the largest, most extravagant affairs.
